What is Dry Eye?

Our eye is coated with a precise liquid mixture known as tears. Tears lubricate the eye to provide comfort as well as clear vision.

If the body’s not correctly creating the tear mixture, or if the mid tier mixture evaporates from your eye too quickly, you may experience dry eyes symptoms.

How can NMN help?

NMN Improves Cell Survival and Reduces Inflammation in Dry Eye Disease

-NMN treatment protects eye cell viability under conditions of dry eye disease moisture loss.
-NMN preserves eye cells by activating DNA maintenance and metabolic health-promoting protein Sirtuin1 (SIRT1).
-NMN triggers immune cells called macrophages to transition from states of cell killing to healing.

Here’s another study that finds that:

Eye drops with NAD+ boosters NMN or NR  ameliorate age-related eye conditions by activating a testosterone synthesizing enzyme in aged mice.

Some of you may have already noticed that the above 2 studies were done on mice.
Does it work on human?
Let me (Georgia – from Toronto,Canada) share my own experience. I had very sensitive eyes since I was a kid. Tears would come out non-stop when there were certain stimulants like pungent raw onion smell in the air, or facial oil got into the eye accidentally. Optometrist prescribed certain artificial tears for me but it didn’t help too much. Taking supplements helped but does not rid me from the disease. I still had non-stop tears at certain times of the day until around 2 months after taking NMN. I can now cut unions without the need to wear swimming goggles.

Moreover, my eyes become healthier. Both nearsightedness and presbyopia improved.
Unlike my peers who may suffer from cataracts or even glaucoma, I am still enjoying very good vision (of course with the help of eye glasses 😆).

Did you know that a lot of people are suffering dry eye disease?
