They include the followings which are not exhaustive:
  • 1. Dementia & Alzheimer’s disease
  • 2. Brain cancer
  • 3. Parkinson disease
  • 4. Stroke
  • 5. Epilepsy
  • 6. Meningitis
  • 7. Migraine
  • 8. Depression
  • 9. Autism
  • ….etc.

There are many causes leading to these diseases:
♦️Cerebrovascular
♦️Infection
♦️Tumor
♦️Aging leading to brain atrophy & degeneration
♦️Others
Let’s briefly look at these one by one.

♦️ Cerebrovascular causes include Cerebral arteriosclerosis, cerebrovascular stenosis, cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, arteriovenous malformation, aneurysm, etc.
A British study found that cardiovascular risk factors such as smoking, high blood pressure, high pulse pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and obesity are all related to complications of blood supply to the brain, and may also lead to reduced blood flow and Alzheimer’s abnormal changes in mutism.
♦️infectious disease
• including encephalitis, meningitis
• Pathogens that cause infection can be viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites, etc.
• Seizures and irreversible neurological disorders can occur
♦️Tumor
Space-occupying lesions can also occur in the brain, including benign tumors, malignant tumors, and metastases from other parts of the body. These tumors can grow in various parts of the brain.
♦️Aging – brain atrophy, degeneration
In particular, it affects learning and complex mental activities. In these areas, communication between nerve cells becomes poor and blood flow in the brain decreases.
♦️Other causes of brain diseases include:
• Stress – Chronic stress can lead to poorly regulated stress responses, which can lead to brain degeneration, such as Alzheimer’s disease. And whether it is daily life, work or trauma, long-term exposure to stress will increase the risk of brain degeneration
• Brain damage – Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) associated with Higher Risk of Neurodegenerative Diseases Including: Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, and More
• Sleep Problems – Sleep deprivation, usually leads to impaired cognitive function
• Chemicals /heavy metals – Examples: chemotherapy, cholesterol medications, preservatives in vaccines, heavy metal in herbal tea, aluminum from drinking water or food containers
• Genetic or gene mutation – Factors causing gene mutations include smoking, radiation, viruses, cancer-causing chemicals (carcinogens), obesity, hormones, chronic inflammation and a lack of exercise

How is NMN helping in mitigating all these causes?

Let’s revisit NMN’s functions:
1️⃣ Provide cellular energy
2️⃣ Turn on 7 longevity genes
3️⃣ Release repair enzyme

1️⃣ Provide cellular energy – Mitochondria are built-in generators inside every single one of our cells. Insufficiency in mitochondrial activities affects every body function.
Insufficient mitochondrial energy in the brain will directly affect brain function, causing brain atrophy and degeneration.

Each of the heart cells has a large number of mitochondria. Insufficiency in mitochondrial energy in the heart will directly affect heart health. If the heart is weak, it cannot supply blood to other parts normally. Insufficient blood supply to the brain will lead to lack of oxygen in the brain. Brain cells or nerves are prone to necrosis, and the necrotic cells are squeezed and cannot be removed. Long-term hypoxia not only affects brain function, but also causes tumors.

When immune cells are lack of energy, they are prone to aging, or are of insufficient quantity to resist viruses or bacteria in time. Viruses or bacteria reach the brain and cause damage.

NMN through increase in NAD+ level can enhance mitochondrial activities and prevent or even reverse the above situations.

2️⃣ Turn on all the 7 longevity genes
Each of these 7 longevity genes or a specific combination of these genes has a specific role.
No. 1 can regulate cell metabolism and repair blood vessels

No. 2 can reduce oxidative stress and reduce inflammation
No. 3 can repair and lengthen telomeres. Reduce brain cell death, improve immune cell quality and quantity
No. 4 Can Inhibit Cancer
No. 5 is especially good for our liver, strengthens hematopoietic function and provides blood quality
No. 6 has a good hypoglycemic effect and reduces the risk of cerebrovascular problems.
No. 7 is good for the heart

3️⃣ 3. Release repair enzyme
By increasing NAD+ levels, NMN helps release repair enzymes to help cells repair

NMN can address almost every one of the above causes of brain diseases. I have selected 2 studies to share with you today.

Research using animal models such as rodents suggests that anti-aging supplements like nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) could mitigate the effects of Alzheimer’s disease. In such studies, mouse models with Alzheimer’s disease were given NMN supplementation, which decreased the presence of plaques in their brains and improved their performance on tests measuring cognitive function.
