Today, I would like to share more information about this kind of disease which is among the top 3 causes of death in both Canada and USA.
Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body (malignant tumors). These contrast with benign tumors, which do not spread.
Malignant tumors grow at a very fast rate. The growth is also invasive which means that the cells can easily enter the surrounding normal tissues. There is no outer surface to contain the cancer cells. It can also protrude from the tumor, and enter the blood or lymphatic system, from the original site, and then transfer to other organs. A new tumor then forms. This process is called metastasis, and most of our cancers are named according to the organ or cell type from which they originated. For example, stomach cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, etc.
Common cancer treatments are surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immunotherapy. Generally speaking, when metastasis happens, the opportunity for surgery is gone. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy may not be able to get rid of cancer cells completely. Some immunotherapies or targeted cancer drugs may get rid of a cancer completely. But the cost of immunotherapy or targeted cancer is particularly expensive.
The first risk factor leading to tumors is chemicals, such as smoking, and preservatives in food. Nitrite in pickled food can be transformed into a carcinogenic called nitrosamine in the body.
Other carcinogens include aflatoxin in moldy food & benzopyrene in BBQ, fumigated food & smoked food.
Other sources of carcinogen include betel, formaldehyde, etc.
Some cancer causing chemical factors come from physiological and pathological processes of the human body, such as inflammatory response, oxidative stress, and repeated tissue damage.

Cancer causing physical risk factors like ionizing radiation, ultraviolet rays, and some mineral fibers (such as asbestos), etc.
Biological risk factors include viruses & bacteria. The most common virus that causes malignant tumor is hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, and HPV (human papillomavirus). Hepatitis B & C causes liver cancer. HPV causes cervical cancer. The most common type of cancer causing bacteria is pylori infection, what causes gastric cancer.
Genetic is one of the risk factors. People living under the same roof and having the same diet, may have different malignancy susceptibility. Genetics play an important role.
Another important risk factor for cancer is age. According to some statistical data, elderly over the age of 60 are the main force of cancer, and the incidence of cancer reaches the peak at the age of 80.
So how does cancer form⁉
In fact, tumor formation is a very complex, relatively long process that is the result of multi-gene participation, multi-stage, multi-step, and multi-system regulation.
When cells divide, the presence of these various factors like chemical factors, physical factors, biological factors, etc., plus genetical / DNA damage makes the cell division process faulty. The original instruction in telling the cells how to behave is not replicated correctly (mutation) and thus resulting in abnormal cells and in turn cancer.
📌 How can we prevent cancer?
We need have a healthy lifestyle. We should reduce excessive sun exposure to avoid radiation & ultraviolet rays. We should eat light, fresh and easy-to-digest foods and reduce the intake of processed foods. On the other hand, we also need to manage stress.
A very good way to prevent cancer is to use NMN. Why is NMN helpful as a defence?
NMN is an endogenous substance that exists in our cells.
It can activate the mitochondria in our cells and increase cellular energy. Sufficient energy can prevent cell mutation.
Secondly it can turn on all the 7 longevity genes in our body.
Thirdly, NMN can help release the repair enzyme that is necessary for DNA repair. This can minimize the possibility of cells with faulty DNA in further dividing.
🔴 NMN can improve immunity & thus preventing cancer by dealing with the risk factors, i.e. from the source.
🔴 Strong immunity can prevent viral infections, especially HPV, Hepatitis C & Helicobacter pylori.
🔴 NMN activates SIRT5. It can reduce oxidative stress in the body and reduce chronic inflammation.
🔴 NMN can also reduce the damage to genes caused by radiation and ultraviolet rays. FYI, NASA protects astronauts by giving them NMN to compact strong radiation damage while in the outer space.
🔴 Actually, everybody may have some sort of mutated cells from time to time.
Why some get cancer and some not? That’s because of the very important immune cells, called natural killer (NK) cells. They can detect and activate the immune defense function in the first place, and quickly kill the cancerous cells. NK cells are recognized by the medical profession as the first line of defense against cancer. However, as the age increases, the quantity and quality of NK cells decrease, which leads to the decline of immune surveillance function. When mutated or infected cells escape surveillance and are not destroyed in time, these cells reproduce in large numbers, and develops into chronic diseases such as cancer.
NMN supplementation, through increasing the level of NAD+, can increase the activity of NK cells, thereby preventing cancer.
